A new story, “Blessed Hand,” was recently accepted by Drunken Boat. Look for it this spring.

The fabulous Donna Seaman of Fifth Wednesday Journal recently notified me that my story, "Crud Face," has been accepted for the spring issue, their 10th anniversary issue. Woo-hoo!

Many thanks to Christine and my writing group for their help with "Teensy’s Daughter.” The story appeared in the fall issue of storySouth and wouldn’t be nearly as tight without such careful readers. You can also read the story here. And for those of you who found Gardner interesting, he has spurred a novel-in-stories that I’m ferociously at work on; it takes place in Ingleside, a yet-unnamed Midwestern town with a river thrust through its center.
